Over the past twelve years (yes, I said twelve), Cheeseonastick has been everything from a personal blog to a replacement for the defunct Point Xtreme to a humor blog to a news site with a podcast. Through all of those iterations, there has always been one thing in common: quality amusement park and roller coaster photography. And that’s what will continue. Welcome back to Cheeseonastick!
This photo blog will be done in a “photo of the week” style, where each Monday afternoon I’ll post a new photo from my collection. Sure, things might look a little barren at first, but as time goes on you’ll be able to browse and search photos from parks I’ve visited over the years. That being said, let’s get started!
Dominator is a Bolliger & Mabillard floorless coaster that originally opened in 2001 at Six Flags Ohio, where it was named Batman: Knight Flight. After the park was sold to Cedar Fair in 2004, the ride was renamed Dominator. When Geauga Lake closed at the end of the 2007 season, the ride was moved to Kings Dominion, where it opened in 2008 with a new paint job and a spot right at their front gate.
